Ready for this weekends Let's Get Healthy Challenge??

We are firm believers that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this weeks challenge revolves around just that ;)

The Challenge:
Start every day off with a fresh and healthy smoothie!  Easy enough right?  We truly believe if you start your day off right you will be more inclined to continue on a healthy path for the remainder of the day!   We love fresh fruit and veggie smoothies, but on the crazy mornings when we simply don't have time to think we really enjoy Shakeology... especially chocolate ;)  Yes, we have a sweet tooth and enjoy chocolate shakeo as our fix!

We have made it simple and laid out 3 days worth of meals for you!  You don't need to follow our 3 day meal plan, but we guarantee if you follow along, you are going to feel healthier and maybe even shed a pound or two!  So are you with us????


Breakfast: Pineapple & Kale Smoothie or Shakeology

Lunch: Avocado Tuna Melts

Dinner: Stuffed Caprese Chicken

Breakfast: Strawberry Orange Smoothie or Shakeology

Lunch:  Spinach Strawberry Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette

Dinner: Mexican Spiced Turkey Burgers - what's better than grilling on a Saturday??

Breakfast:  Green Smoothie or Shakeology

Lunch:  Mexican Quinoa Salad - you'll have plenty of Mexi veggies & spices left over from burgers

Dinner:  Grilled Chicken Kebabs with Cilantro Jalapeno Pesto

Everyday is under 1,000 calories which leaves you plenty of wiggle room for healthy snacking or even a glass of wine ;)
Remember Don't Drink Your Calories!
Make a big batch of your favorite sparkling or still fruit infused water!

Cucumber Mint Water

Remember losing weight is simply a numbers game!  It's calories in versus calories out.  If you intake more than you burn you are going to gain weight.  If you intake less than you burn you are going to lose weight.  It's quite simple really.  One pound of weight is right around 3,500 calories!

If you want to lose one pound every week you need to decrease you calorie count right around 500 calories per day.  We like to eat around 1,200 - 1,500 calories in a day which keeps us at a steady and healthy weight.  We found our weight is stable if we keep it right around there! 

By starting your day off right we believe you will be more inclined to continue on a healthy path throughout the whole day!  Start healthy and stay healthy :)
