Soy Glazed Sprouts & Peas Pods

From our skinny table to yours ...

Brussels sprouts are quickly becoming our new favorite veggie!  These delicious little cabbage rounds have been given such an unfair reputation.  If you still think you don't like these beauties, we challenge you to try them again ... we even have the hubs enjoying their sprouts now :)  The trick is to NOT over cook them! You want to caramelize the outside but keep the inside still deliciously crunchy and we have the perfect, easy recipe to do so!

This recipe calls for only 5 ingredients & comes together in just 5 minutes.  All you need is extra virgin olive oil, low-sodium soy sauce, fresh garlic, Brussels sprouts & sugar snap peas.  Simply add your fresh minced garlic, soy sauce & olive oil to a pan on medium high heat.  Toss in your veggies & saute 3-4 minutes until caramelized and crunchy.  This Asian inspired method works with any combination of your favorite vegetables (you could even toss in some shrimp or chicken breast for a complete meal!) but this combination is one of our favorites.

Hope you enjoy!
