Your Two Minute Butt Exercise of the Day!

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

There is no hiding from it, Spring has sprung and summer is on the way!  We are loving the weather!  If it's 80 in April there's no telling what July will bring, so let's all be ready to wear the bare minimum!  If you have been putting off healthy eating and exercise, NOW is the time to follow along.  It's never to late to start living a healthy lifestyle.  We all have to start somewhere!  Eat clean and be lean ;)

Today we are toning our tush!  Who doesn't want a perky and round behind?  We sure do so we are putting in the work today to make this dream come true ;)  Grab your nearest chair and let's get moving!

And the clock starts now..

And the clock starts now...

20 chair lunges each leg.  Grab a chair and get in position shown above.  One leg out in front as far out as possible, other leg out on the chair behind you.  Go down as far as you can (when you lunge down, don't let your knee go in front of your toe) and then come straight back up.  Repeat 20x both sides
10 jumping jacks to get the heart rate up
20 squats.  Stand with legs shoulder width apart, chest up and shoulders back.  Bend knees and pretend as if you're sitting in a chair, stand back up and repeat
10 jumping jacks
30 second wall squat.  Put back up against wall, feet shoulder width apart.  Squat down to a 90 degree angle.  Don't let knees go over your toes.  Hold for 30 seconds then RELAX!

You are finished!!  Feel free to repeat if you're feeling extra motivated :)  Feeling even more motivated??  Well then here you go, since it's tush day try and focus on that area throughout the whole day.  Always be aware of your butt.  Keep it tight when your walking around.  Instead of walking down the hallways in your home, do lunges.  Take an extra trip up and down the stairs... you get the idea!

Now get moving and then get cooking your favorite I Don't Go to the Gym meal and we'll all feel skinnier tomorrow!

  3. I found you on the Linkin' with my ladies blog hop and I saw this and had to know what this blog was about.

I don't know what I thought it would be, but I wasn't thinking it would be workouts and healthy eating tips for home. What a nice surprise!

I love that you have recipes and short workouts you can do anywhere. I'm currently out of town for work and this hotel gym sucks. Now I can do some butt exercises without having to put on a bra...or pants.

    Thanks for that!
