It's officially March which means spring is right around the corner and we love the sound of that! We can't wait for all the beautiful spring days ahead where we can go for long walks to soak up the sun & burn a few calories while we are at it :) In the meantime, let's all get moving on this Monday morning with today's 2 minute exercise of the day.
Today we are strengthening and toning our core muscles with a plank workout. We love planks because they work your back, abs, arms, shoulders, thighs (& more!) with one simple exercise. We are ALL about working as many muscles as possible in the shortest amount of time!
So get in your plank position because the clock starts now ...
60 second plank hold on your elbows (the longer you can hold it the better! We are shooting for 2 minutes today!)
30 second plank hold in a push up position with your left leg raised off the ground
30 second plank hold in a push up position with your right leg raised off the ground
DONE! What a great way to start the week! Make sure to pick your favorite 'I don't go to the gym' meal for dinner & we will all feel skinnier tomorrow :)
